Brief Overview
The Pine Tree Center was created in 2023 as a multi-use health and retreat center. It has hosted diverse types of small gatherings, including a men’s and women’s group, a cooking class, a psychotherapy group, a meditation class, health classes, a sound bath and even a wedding! It has accommodated overnight travelers, Pacific Crest Trail hikers and Vipassana aspirants. The Center also houses the part time private office of Dr. Benedict, where he sees patients by appointment.
The Pine Tree Center is a completely renovated 1600 square foot home on 6 acres of undeveloped, nature-filled land. It is located 5 miles south of downtown Tehachapi, California (population 11,000) in the foothills of the Tehachapi Mountains at an elevation of 5,000 feet. Tehachapi is known as “The Land of Four Seasons” with temperatures varying between 30 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter and 87 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer. With clean air, dark skies at night and beautiful views in every direction, it is a magical and peaceful place of healing.

Overnight Accommodations at the Pine Tree Center
You will enjoy a well-appointed, clean and comfortable home, featuring a main bedroom and bath (queen-size bed and walk-in closet), living room, kitchen, dining room, guest bathroom, laundry room, mud room, front yard, back yard (fenced) and several outdoor decks – all surrounded by 6 acres of rustic nature. Internet and Bluetooth services are provided at no additional charge.
Restaurants, shopping, and other activities are available within a 15-minute drive to the nearby town of Tehachapi.
Adult single occupancy rate, per night: $285.00*
Adult double occupancy rate, per night: $345.00**
Maximum overnight occupancy: two adults.
*Discounted rate if receiving health care services on-site: $235.00
**Discounted rate if one or more persons are receiving health care services on-site: $295.00
